Kenosha City Government runs on Linux! They run Neoware thin clients running X-Windows? and have a Quad Xeon application server with 6 Gigabytes of ram that supports 200 workstations. They run applications such as Open Office, Evolution, and for those rare compatibility complications, they run Codeweavers Crossover Office which enables them to run Microsoft Office as well! Enforcer

Enforcer is a relatively old (~15 years) law enforcement technology provider (hardware/software/network/mobile products and services), who adopted Linux as one of the server platforms in the late 90s, thanks to the forward thinking president. Last I checked, there are a few servers that are still running 2.0.x kernels.

Many of the municipalities in Southeastern Wisconsin use our services and therefor use Linux in some way.

As an executive of this company, I have persuaded all developer and support staff to use Debian for their desktops. I did not do this because I am a Linux zealot (I prefer *BSD to be honest), but rather because it made business sense.
