The MLUG Mailing List

There's a mailing list set up for MLUG.

You can perform most list functions by sending requests to the list manager (Sympa) at mlug-list-request@milwaukeelug.org. The type of request can be specified either in the subject line of the request, or on a single line in the body of the request message. If the request needs an address, the address of the sender is used by default.

The most commonly used requests are:

• subscribe - add an email address to the mailing list
• signoff - remove an email address from the mailing list
• help - get a list of the requests recognized by the list manager

Subscribing and unsubscribing an email address will require a confirmation reply from the specified address before the request will be completed.

There are many more request types. Send a help request to get a complete list plus descriptions.

Most requests can also be performed through the web form interface at http://www.milwaukeelug.org/wws/info/mlug-list

Send mail to sympa@milwaukeelug.org containing the single line:

To Unsubscribe

Click here and go to the bottom of the next page and enter your email address in the bottom box and click the adjacent button.
